Love letter to Cami

I got to meet you, but I’m pretty sure you’ve yet to meet me.

You were the highlight of my California trip, showing me what real unconditional love looks like.

You’ve done nothing to deserve my love yet I would risk my life for you. So amusing, just by being yourself you became my muse.

Consistently captivating, I can look at you in the eyes for hours. The best part is, you have yet to learn it’s not normal to stare back.

So much potential, the future is bright. Don’t let this world change you, for you are here to change the world, help make it right.

Waking me up early in the morning with a coo or cry quickly became my favorite way to wake up ever. Without the knowledge to speak, you taught me so much. Valuable information that will follow me for life.

I will work everyday to become the greatest and coolest uncle ever, so when we meet again I can inspire you as you’ve inspired me.

I dream of being able to get down to your level and play one day. I’ll be a special guest to your tea party, or a horse you can ride. I’ll drive you to ice cream and on the way we can discuss the mysteries of the universe. I’m open to learn from you, and can’t wait to pass down the wisdom from our ancestors.

So many stories to share, many more to create together. Don’t grow up too fast, I still need to have some kids of my own and you can grow up with each other.

I love you with all my heart. I pray for you daily. You were blessed to have some of the greatest parents. Stay sweet and thankful, don’t take them for granted.

Looking forward to see you again, to show you the beauty that is Christ. I can only imagine how excited He is for you to meet Him.
