Living in the moment

I’m officially in California. I had nothing planned or a place to stay for a few days so I decided to relax for the sabbath and explore the coast line. Once I decided to not have a schedule for 2 days and truly live in the RIGHT NOW it was liberating. I feel so free!!! And I’m STILL making money from work I’ve done in the past. It’s epic having passive residual income ngl.

I started in San Diego. Drove around the city, explored imperial beach, and UCSD. I didn’t know what hour it was or even think about what’s next, I just slowly made my way up the coast hitting up the best beaches along the way. A lot of places I didn’t get the name of or check the map, but I have friends out here so I got spot recommendations of places to hangout. My favorite location had to be in Carlsbad, a coffee shop called “Communal”. Lots of young people and the beach is right down the street. I talked with some very nice ladies, then went for a skate down by the ocean for a few hours. I met up with my friend Hope and her friend to play some cards. I went to see Avatar then just movie hopped for a while. I slept when I got tired and ate when I was hungry. What a concept.

This state is beautiful and I gotta say when you’re looking through Gods lens every person and place is an opportunity for divine intervention. Life is just better His way. Life is more interesting His way. Everything is better when you live life for Him. Freedom is having no other options, His option only.

Freedom is very simple. It all starts with a mindset. Liberty is freedom of the mind and your thoughts. Once you’ve recognized that life experiences have programmed your mind to think, make decisions, and stay “safe”, you can see how (most of the time) sin runs our lives. We choose into things that are self destructive and we THINK freedom is doing whatever we want. This often times leads us to be miserable, and we don’t know why. When we choose into Gods will for our lives and walk in faith for what He desires for us to do, that’s where freedom starts. He has OUR best interests in mind and when we choose into Him we ultimately invest in ourselves too.

Why am I out here in California? Only because God told me to go. It didn’t make sense financially, I have so much responsibility at home, missing birthdays and church services. I stepped out in faith and each place I go, God shows up. Each day that passes the picture gets clearer on my missions purpose. As I serve others, and pray over family members and friends, I get love poured back into me.

THIS IS THE LIFESTYLE! This is what life is all about. Family, friends, freedom and Jesus. I serve and love those around me and God fills in the rest. Sometimes it feels like money just falls from the sky to pay for it all, it’s nothing short of lil miracles. I’m not even surprised when it happens too. It’s like “duh, of course that photo client I met yesterday loved the work so much they tipped me an EXTRA $100” thanks Jesus.

Liberty = freedom = happiness.

I feel like I’m hacking life. One simple cheat code… follow the Word. Choose into God. Follow Jesus, and you can be free too.

Hope you enjoyed reading Dalana, posted this only because you asked 😂
