ALEX GOT TRADED TO THE RED WINGS!!!

Last month we took a family road trip to Michigan for a family reunion. It was so nice seeing the cousins and their new babies. There were talks of Alex getting traded from the Ottawa senators to some team back here in the USA.

I’m happy to share that the team that he was traded to was our family team for decades, the Detroit Red Wings!!! I’m so excited because the Wings bring a lot of nostalgia for me and my family, but more importantly it’s a great place for Alex to raise his kids and be close to his parents and brother.

I’m very excited for this next few years as the Wings, hopefully, get to the playoffs. I’m saving up for the day Alex gets to play for the Stanley cup, I will do anything and everything to be in that arena to watch him win it!

I know Papa would be so proud, and borderline move back to Michigan, if he were alive to hear this news. I shall embody the same zeal he would have had. I’ve started my Red Wing shirt collection and there’s already parties planned to invite everybody to the sports bar and watch the games.

This is surreal. Couldn’t be traded to a better team.
