I Moved Into A House With My Best Friends

Here is a life update:

The day we landed back in the states from Israel, my best friends signed on their new home. This has been in the works for a while now and we are finally here! Since June I have been couch surfing and visiting people all across the USA, living out of a suit case. I’ve been the most housed homeless guy ever.

So Isaiah and Cyrus went in on buying a home and our buddy Nathanial and I are renting rooms in their place. It’s right on the lake and was just completely renovated. Feels so luxurious and I am so thankful to start this next chapter of my life with such great, God fearing men. Truly divine appointment that will catapult us all to the next level of strength in our faith.

I’ve had so much stuff in storage since I moved to Flordia and it’s nice seeing it all be put to use. Many of the things are passed down from my grandparents and are very nice. Real furniture, Persian rugs, old paintings, our pad is classy. I love how I can trust these guys to take good care of it all. We are all into the elegant, artistic style not the modern, cheap, ikea vibe many young men are into these days. Far from a broke college student frat house.

We’ve been so blessed with receiving an over flow of donated items from the Hazim’s and the KEM church community. I’m blown away how just in 3 days we have pretty much everything we need for free. Yesterday was “bulk trash day” and while many piles in front of peoples homes were palm tree clippings, there were many useful items we got just driving around and praying. Side tables, plastic storage bins, a NICE bookshelf. Nothing wrong or even dirty about this stuff, why somebody would throw it away is beyond me. An answer to actual prayers. God is so good and takes care of His children.

Sometimes life is so good I feel like it’s not even real. I am grateful for the blessings. I do not take this for granted. I pray this doesn’t come off as boasting I’m just genuinely excited about this. I try to make this blog be as real and true to my thoughts as possible, I call it the “anti-social media”. Anyway, I hope you come visit sometime.

Shalom.
