Drive to Cali: Day 3
Today I woke up before the sun and read my bible, took my supplements, drank my shake, stretched and I was on the road by 8AM.
I drove 3 hours from Austin to Dallas to visit my friend Benet Bino. He is one of my best friends. We met at TLTCON 2017 and he also was a mentor at TLT 2022. It was so nice seeing him and his family. We ate at the Cheese Cake Factory with all 3 of his younger sisters, who went to TLT this past year, and his older sister Mary who just had a baby this past year! I absolutely LOVE babies and he was SOOOO smileyyyyy!!! We had such a great conversation about God and what He is doing in all of our lives.
The original plan for today was to hang out with the Bino Family then head over an hour west to stay with my friend Luis. Luis and I would sleep, then tomorrow head out for Arizona at 5AM.
I received a call from my Uncle with some news that pushed back my California trip a few days. Out of respect I will not go into details, but I have been praying intensely for all to be healed so I can see them and their new baby as intended.
With this extra time I decided to goto work with Benet at LifeTime fitness. He’s a trainer there and it’s got to be the greatest gym I’ve ever worked out at. They have a spa, chiropractor, juice bar, business center, yoga studio, huge gym, pool, sauna. It was INSANE. I mostly hung out in the business center and clicked away doing some computer work. Then filmed a podcast with Victor for the TLTMOVEMENT. After, Benet and I hit the gym for about an hour, ended it with a cold plunge.
Over all a great day full of fellowship and making an impact. I have no idea what the future of this trip looks like, but I’m along for the ride.
God bless
